What characteristics of the Dutch educational system improve learning, prepare for the labour market, and strengthen the participation of citizens in society? These issues will be addressed during a policy conference in which a policy report on the Dutch educational system is presented, on 15 October.

The report is the result of a four years collaborative research project by social scientists specialised in education of the University of Amsterdam, Maastricht University and Erasmus University, in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Education.
